If my guesstimate is correct the car is doing right around 125mph. I don't think my f-150 would allow me to pass it.

It doesn't look that fast as the terrain passes by, but my math is about the same as yours, 124.274 MPH.

Jayd Hilm.   One of the coolest sights I saw in my area was a C-130 flying out of the valley.  I wish the Air Force would tell us when they do that.  It's lawn chair, pop a beer and wait for the fly by.

I can recall stories about the F-16's early generation radar software identifying traffic on the autobahn as aircraft.

I seriously think this is what he is doing.
There is a ROTHR site less than 20 miles from me.  I am sure Russia has a few.
Earlier I said avoiding RADAR but with ROTHR he would be on RADAR but he would show up as a car.

I did see something similar one time just easy of Peoria, IL.  Some guy in a Kit Fox flying about that high along the eastbound lanes.  I thought he was going to crash and a lot of other drivers on the CB were saying the same thing.  He flew along rather unsteadily for about 10 miles and then headed away from the highway.

General consensus was either some non-pilot just finished building the plane and was up for his first ever flight, or it was a drunk pilot.

Years ago, about 2005 or so, I was on Pikes Peak in January and heard some jet sounds.  Stood there a few seconds then two F-16s popped out of the valley, whooshed RIGHT over my head, and popped back down.  Holy crap it was awesome.

Because the second you do something cool for people, they're whipping out their iPhones and posting video online... Shortly after that you're losing your job.

Also, I don't want to be 'that guy', but that video really looks like CGI to me. Something is just off about it.

Don't kid yourself. The first helicopter mission I went on in the fleet was a lot like that. We had the briefing, reviewed the way points, which I dully noted. When we got out to the helicopter the pilot chucked his survival vest under the back seat in the UH1-1E, jumpers into his seat, and pulled a Texaco road map out of his ankle pocket in this flight suit. We followed the highways the whole way.  At the junctions he would lower the helicopter to read the road signs.  This was back in the early 70's.
