Me? Hands down my 40's. (I'm 45 now).

I'm not really old enough to give a good answer, but for me probably the first decade. I had a good childhood.

No more kiddo camping trips. You are going to crash and burn around noon.
To answer your question - I feel the thirties were the best. I had experience and endurance to do whatever I did really well and consistently. Slow is smooth, Smooth is fast and Old is god-like. EDIT just because |

Worst was the first.
Now in the middle of the sixth. Haven't had a good one yet. |

They have all been pretty good, but none of the others had my wife and kids, so I have to say the current one.
Life is good. |

My 30's were probably the best . . . marriage, kiddo, starting a business, etc. . . . although my 40's and 50's weren't too bad either.

All have been good.
My best was probably 20 to 30. I got married. Proved to myself that I couldn't wear it out. We had both our sons during those years. I got out of the US Army, completed college, got a great job, bought a house and a fishing boat. At 58 plus I still have the wife, the fishing boat and the sons. |

I'm 38 right now and my late teens to early 20's were the best. I had a pretty tight circle of friends and all we did was hunt, fish, and shoot guns. Things went down hill about the time I hit 21 when friends started getting married or their existing wives/GF's decided to tighten the leash a bit more. I got a bit of the old life back when I got married but with the work schedules we have I don't even get to spend much time with the wife anymore.

every decade so far has had its own ups and downs. I cant say that any one of them was better than the other. just different but equally great in its own way.

I probably have been squandering them all. This is the 1st decade I have taken note of it and tried to do something about it

18-28 for me. I'm 49 . Thirties were the worst . Forties are meh, I realized how much time I waste working , and how little time I spend doing shit I like.

Probably the most recent (62 now) despite Obama and being single. Second place - unappreciated then - was 17 - 27.

20's were pretty awesome but the second half of my 50's are shaping up pretty well.

43. Every decade, taken on the whole, has been better for me than the previous.
Looking forward to much more awesome. |

I think between age 27 and 37 was the best decade of my life. I had been assigned to a test team where I would stay for a decade, had met the woman I knew I was meant to marry (but fate dictated that could not happen), met and married my wife, and ultimately established myself with a positive reputation in my field that gave me name recognition in industry and militaries around the world.

I would have to say my 40's. I am only 41 but last year my daughter was born and this year I married my wife. 30's would be a close second because my son was born when I was 38.

This last ten years has been pretty good for me. I raised my son to be an excellent young man without his mom being around or involved. Got rid of here after she went full retard. Decided I didn't need a woman in my life to complicate things or bring any drama. This last I guess, 11 years has been my best. 42 to 54

Definitely my 30's.
Living in SoCal, travelling the world for a living on the taxpayers dime (flying for MAC). |

Forties. I'm finally at the point in my life were I can afford all the cool things that I dreamed about in my teens and twenties. Things my Dad could afford but I couldn't. Now it all makes sense. My son is now an adult and is mostly self sufficient. I'm the old guy at work who makes more money than the rookies. This is actually a pretty good time for me. And to think I used to consider people in their forties "over the hill".

As far as over all good times and happiness I would have to say my 20's hands down.
Even counting my divorce at 28 it was the best 10 year stretch yet for over all satisfaction in life. I am 55 now. |

Every decade has been fantastic, but for completely different reasons, even if I didn't realize it at the time.

My 20's were epic. My 30's have been better. Hard to beat my son being born and starting my own business. I think it'll get better from here. I've put a beating on my body, so I'm planning to wind into retirement a bit early so I can enjoy it before I'm too broken.

Quoted: Me? Hands down my 40's. (I'm 45 now). View Quote It was for me as well. Health and money and free time were major parts of that 5th decade. No in the middle of my 7th and enjoying a different peace. |

My 20's. Sex, drugs and rock n' roll. Since then I've been working my ass off. Gonna retire soon though before 55 so it's been worth it.
