Why do so many feel obligated to point out an obvious double standard like they're the first ones to have ever noticed it?

This one is a hung jury.
He was in a bar and expected a women 21 years of age or older to be there. He should have, however, been a bit suspicious because even if a 16 year old can fake their way in, they do not not act/talk like a young women in their 20s. I would need more info on the circumstances. Did he ask her what her age was and did she produce a fake ID? Did the girl in question really look/act the part? Etc... |
