If you listen very closely the last note of the guitar solo in Rushs "Limelight" sustains til the end of the song. I think the sound engineer did it though. Not Lifeson.

I saw Peter Gabriel in Houston in 1984.

When they finished their set, the band filed off stage and the last out, Tony Levin, strummed a note on his base and set it in a holder.

That note kept going for a good 5 minutes, until the crowd started chanting "Encore!" and the band filed back onstage.
