This Confederate flag bullshit has gotten me riled and I have one on order.
I've just decided that I'm going to start celebrating Confederate Memorial Day but there really isn't a consensus of when it is among the Southern States. Different states, different days. Howzabout you Southern boys hammering me out a good day to celebrate it? I do want it in late April, though and now in the middle of winter like they celebrate it in Texas. In short, gimme a date. Thanks. |

I've never seen anyone celebrate it in Texas.
Now, Independence day? Yeah. Every March 2nd. Lots of towns have Texas Independence day parades. |

May 10 in the Carolinas. Stonewall Jackson died this day and also same day Jefferson Davis was captured. Different years tho.
I'd go with April 12 if it was me |

OK, I have figured this out.
Seeing how the several Southern States can't seem to come to a consensus, I am simply going to check the weather reports for good barbecue days and celebrate it according to the custom of the state that has theirs slated for a good barbecue day. FWIW I have never been a rebel flag kind of guy until I was forced to pick a side. Of course, as is easily predictable, I went STRAIGHT to the under dog. |
