"It's a war zone", "too many guns...", etc. She would probably be upset if a good shoot happened to a non-gun wielding criminal occurred around her too. Guy at work had his wife say that UBCs need to happen to help make things safer, he told her it won't stop criminals and she wouldn't have any of it  . His parents allowed him to be around guns growing up while hers hid the guns they had and she came to fear them.
