I read something, I think on this forum, about how Skynet from Terminator was winning so we nuked the fuck out of the planet to stop solar power. The machines turned us into their "batteries"...The Matrix. I know it doesn't really mesh with the power cells that the terminators use, but liked the idea.

Great Movie.
Part of what makes it timeless is the overt and covert Christian Gnosticism that was interlaced throughout the movie. It has alot of enduring archetypes and underlying truths that speak to everyone who watches it, at the least on a subconscious level. |
