Talking about more strokes. A guy I work with contracted meningitis about a month ago after feeling fucky that day at work. Later that night her His wife took him to the hospital after he didnt know who or where he was. The next day he had a stroke. ( i guess the best place to get a stroke would be a hospital right?) Walking and joking around at the cookout today. View Quote Meningitis is scary as all hell. Duckski's dad has had it twice. Put it in ICU both times, and they didn't think he'd survive either one. Duckski's dad just had a headache that wouldn't go away. He left work to go home and take a rest. Woke up out of his gourd and violent, which is totally unlike him. He destroyed the ambulance on the way to the hospital and ended up having to get life flighted out to Augusta. That was the first time. The second time, we were pretty sure what the symptoms were indicating and got him to the hospital before he went mental. They didn't believe us, though, and he ended up tearing up one of their rooms and tossing a few of the staff around before they managed to tranq him and get him restrained. He's suffered some permanent nerve damage, and he's just not as sharp as he used to be. |
