Great American Beer Festival tickets go on sale while I'm in the air this morning. Looks like for the first time in about 15 years of business travel I'm going to spring for inflight wifi.

Baby James had a good first night, fed from 9 until 10 then mostly slept until 4, had his first poop and lots of pee so we know the plumbing is working well. Wife is feeling good and is ready for some breakfast, catheter and drip come out in an hour so she will be able to get showered properly and put on her own clothes. View Quote One thing that made the wife feel really bad after her c section was she couldn't pick up our son. |

Yay! Glad Baby James is doing all the baby things babies are supposed to do. Babies are pretty awesome. I don't understand why more dads aren't excited to stay home with them for the first several weeks. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Duckski took the first couple weeks, and he wishes he had more time too. But I hear guys on here all the time bad mouthing guys that take time off and bragging about how little time they took. I just don't get it. |

Ahhh...that feeling of relief when the 400 pounder boarding your flight sits in a seat other than the one next to you.

Thankfully my wife recovers quickly, she was holding him immediately after birth, and just needed help getting him in and out of his cot, and was able to hold baby girl when she visited last night (just needed a big pillow to protect the incision). |

Good for her! How is baby girl taking this whole thing? She was good last night, excited to meet her baby brother, we gave her a bunch of big sister presents, she held him and gave him a kiss goodbye. I will go get her from preschool tonight and bring her to the hospital again. |
