I've noticing that a lot of shitty people seem to come from shitty states and then they want to move to a decent state and fuck it up.
Should states be allowed to regulate interstate immigration? Keep out the assholes? People in shitty states, you know who you are, don't try to act all nonchalant. |
I see plenty of statist fuckholes from "decent" states on arfcom. Honestly, the "people of the gun" from this shitty state are more radical than half the people here.

All shitty people should be required to migrate to one shitty state to be named later. I propose Illinois.

California's sad journey is why we need interstate immigration laws. |

Taxes.
Red States should impose heavy taxes on transplantees. |
I think that you should only be allowed to vote in the state you are born in and have it count ONLY for that state.
Period. |
Nah, even the reddest/bluest states in the country don't go more than about 60-65% for one side. Plenty of conservatives behind enemy lines (ask me how I know) who would prefer to move elsewhere. Maybe if you move from one state to another you can't vote in state/local elections in your new state for a certain amount of time? I'm half joking but we don't let people move here and vote until they become citizens, yet if you want to move from California to Texas you can register and vote basically immediately.
Maybe not illegal. But at least some sort of application and interview process
I agree. Here in Texas, the wall is being built along the wrong border.
You mean like when California used to be great, and then all the freaks from the rest of the country (Austin, you know what I'm talkin' bout) moved here and fucked it all up??

I don't give a fuck where you come from so long as you don't come to Montana.

Thats one of the basics of our republic you can vote with your feet. I wish people were smart enough to realize how the state they moved from got fucked up and vote better

Hmm... if I could figure out, exactly, how to interface inter-state commerce clause to work against human capital...

The lack of an economy in Montana kinda helps with that, but not enough.

I kinda think it's a good idea for immigrants. We're not gonna enforce the national border so might as well let the states do it between each other, at least for people wanting to take up residence. It shouldn't be a prerequisite to visit however.
