Are you that desperate?

Stirling Silver is only about 92% silver, and depending on the manufacturer and condition, it would be worth more not melted down.

This stuff was all damaged.  $10 per oz.

What's with the retard logic of 'silver used to be $X 30 years ago!'?  Clearly the value of the dollar has changed, why would you ever expect it to buy you a same or similar amount as it did 30 years ago?

Remember, knife handles are filled with plaster. So are the bases of candlesticks.

Bullion Direct is having a sale.

They'll even store your bullion for you and issue you a piece of paper in lieu of your silver, so you don't have to take physical possession of the metal and pay for shipping and sales tax.

What a deal!

Limited time offer.

Yup....that's one of the reasons I got out of PM ETFs. My financial advisor told me when he took over my portfolio..."you know PDM, there're more PM ETFs written than there is physical gold....."

You consider $15 to be low?

I bought silver years ago, it was around $5.  I kept it for at least 5-6 years, finally gave up and sold it because it didn't go up at all.  Sure enough, 2-3 years later it starts going up

There's still plenty of room for it to go down.  I wouldn't get near it in this volatile time.

You understand how investing works?  No.

Apparently not. Doesn't understand how Dollar cost averaging works either.

Silver buyers make me think of those po-dunk trailer park people who buy Beanie Babies and Furbys in hopes that they are worth something one day, because the can't afford the more expensive stuff with more returns

Seruously

If I had $5,000 worth of silver bought in 1965, know how much that would be worth today compared to how much interest $5,000 would have returned from a savings account? Precious metals shouldn't be comapred to stocks but savings accounts.

Why is this single 10oz 50 bmg cost more then 10 1oz 5.56 mm

I would think it would cost the same

I just want the 5.56 for gifts. I'm just not sure why it's so much cheaper..

Because 5.56 doesn't penetrate well.

Well? I went with a co-worker to one of the local shops and bought some silver. I already have some silver int he form of American Eagles and Mexican Liberatds, along with some of the AR15. com silver and copper coins that were sold a while back.

Added a 5oz. Silver bar and some Canadian Maple Leafs; plus two more copper coins (mainly for fun); one of the is a "Bitcoin".

I am probably picking up mor 50z (maybe a 10oz bar) when my next paycheck arrives. Stocking it up because my future plans may include buying some gold as well.
