News just reported that it was a man with a knife. Two officers ordered him to drop the knife as he approached them, he refused and continued advancing toward them and he was shot and killed.
Reports say that it was on body cam, no videos yet. |

From what I've heard so far: It took place near the old bridge across from the campground where 302 and 112 meet. Guy was trying to drive his jeep over the bridge and crashed into one of the boulders used to close it to vehicle traffic. He walked away from the accident with a knife in his hand, and two Haverhill cops stopped him on 302, lead to him getting shot. Male age 42, dead.

Thanks for the updates, I also drive through that area a lot, was there this past Sunday in fact, I used to live about 8 miles east on 112 for a while.
I wonder if that guy was one of the people that gold pan in the river? |

Alder Brook is near Littleton , I belong, but I don't think I will renew next year. If you have the option set up a small range at your house!! I read today that the guy with the knife was hit 6 times, I was reading rather quickly in the break room so I didn't see how many shots were fired. |

I shot at Ammonoosoc year ago, used to shoot skeet a little with a guy names Fred C.. I may have to look at joining there.
It's a lot longer drive but, the wife and daughter could pan for gold while I shoot!!! Alder Brook has definitely been taken over by flatlanders to the point where they feel they can levy fines if you dion't show up for clean up day |

There was one old timer there named Don. Used to give me so much shit because I was a No good teenager I bought a Krag from Cheap shots and took it out there. He loved it.

Apparently those to Officers weren't trained by the NYPD. As far as Alderbrook goes, I shoot there most every Sunday. It's fine. Some changes have been good, some not. None of which bothers me. |
