I've noticed more hatred towards minorities now than I ever have. Anyone that I've heard that cares to comment on the situation has felt this way, and the reason is always the same. It's their own fault, and it's kind of disturbing. The people bitching about racism are seemingly the most racist...

I am hearing weird shit I never thought I would hear people say. I went to my sheet metal guy to pick up some fireplace saddles for a couple of jobs and while I am there he walks over kinda close to me and says, hey you think we are about to have a race war? I go what makes you say that. He says it's easy to see, which I agree. He says everything seems screwed up and this black on white crime crap has to stop.
I have work with this guy for 20 years and he is just a down to earth pretty laid back guy and it kinda caught me off guard. He knows I hunt and fish and own some guns so maybe he thought I was safe to have that kind of conversation with. My MIL has said some off the wall comments recently that lets me know she see's what's going on. Last night my wife comes home from getting her hair done and say's her stylist was talking about this stuff and has never said anything like that in the 12 years my wife has been going to her. I think alot of people are taking notice but are unsure of what comes next. |

It may be to instill the Fear of the threat of such an event; the possibility of it. There really isn't any better tool than Fear that can cause mass submission. For instance, we as firearms enthusiasts suffer from bouts of panic buying at the mere mention of "Ban" after any crisis or election cycle.
ETA: Up to getting into an actual physical altercation, I feel fear. Once the first blow has landed though, my desire to lay a motherfucker out takes precedence. Something to think about. - I'm no badass (nowhere near being one), just another human animal. |

Hell, they've been at it for so long that the current President of the United States has internalized some of their older propaganda, repeats it, supports it and promotes it.
