The FSA (Free Syrian Army) are the Syrian rebels who are fighting the Syrian government and now IS. They're the "good" rebels.
The SAA (Syrian Arab Army) are the military of the Syrian government under Bashar al-Asad. They're fighting all of the different rebel factions.
IS (Islamic State) are jihadist/Islamist fighters defending the Islamic Caliphate they have set up straddling the Syria/Iraq border. They're fighting against anyone who doesn't join or submit to them. A lot of terrorist groups arround the world are starting to declare they're fighting under the IS banner.

Because of the nature of the fighting, there's a lot of temporary alliances, where people fight on the same side, usually against IS, then start fighting each other again a bit later. Also there's other factions in play, like the Al Nusra Front who are the official Al Qaeda franchise in Syria, the Kurds in the north trying to set up their own autonomous state and a whole load of other random grups allied to one of the others. The whole thing is a cluster fuck with a heavy dose of international terrorism thrown in on all sides. Obama wanted to bomb the SAA on behalf of the FSA but backed off when Britain and France suggested it may not be a good idea.

If this video is telling the truth guys getting killed are from IS and the guys doing it are from FSA.

After that, it was becoming aware of hostage situations and executions.

...Then of course 9/11.

Now it's ISIS and all the other associated sand vermin that do this sort of shit and film it for advertising.

At the very least, things like this make the deniers and apologists have a much harder time doing it successfully.
