Quoted: The whole game looks great from the release video. I'm thinking a GTX-980TI and plenty of texture mods await my future. View Quote Yup, time to upgrade the old GTX 560Ti(she's a workhorse) to something a bit more powerful! Time to double my RAM(currently running 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3) too. Been wanting to step up to 16GB for a while now. |

I'm building a whole new system anyway. Good timing
i7, 16 gig RAM, 970 STRIX GPU should be good enough |

When I was building mine last year, I was reading that anything over 8 gigs is a bit of a waste under the current operating systems?

If you are running a 64 bit OS then you can run a lot of memory, 128GB for Win8 or 512GB for Win8 Pro. The problem is in the programs. If they are still using 32 bit code then they are going to be limited to about 4GB. That's where the 8GB value limit comes into play since that would give you about 4GB for the game and 4GB for the OS. The new computer I'm building for my wife has 16GB in it. |

Same here...I love Skyrim! My favorite character was an unarmed/unarmored Breton Vampire using the Necromage exploit and Stability together with Slow Time (Amulet/Blessing of Talos and Dragon Aspect are optional). Add in the Bound Sword method to get Vampiric Grip and Drain Life in human form, and used in conjunction with Alchemy/Fortify Restoration and either the Advanced Apprentice Stone or Advanced Lady Stone (plus Equilibrium) to get a character that doesn't really need any items/armor/weapons/scrolls/potions/spells/etc. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It's Bethesda. The last sort of good game they dished out was Morrowind, and it's not like that was some shining example of awesome outside of the writing. Terminator: Rampage was pretty fucking awesome, though. Morrowind was the first Bethesda game that I played. +1, Loved Skyrim, and put an embarrassingly large amount of hours into that game. Was nice to have it as an option, so I hope they continue to allow bugs like that to exist. I'm a storyline gamer, I like to play them like an interactive book. I don't want to get in ridiculous boss battles that will stop me from progressing if I suck. I don't want some side quest to be a chore, I want to "read" through it and continue on. A bow that does 87 brazillion points of damage lets me enjoy the story and not want to throw my controller across the room an hour and a half into it. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I've got to upgrade my video card. My 660 Ti is beginning to show its age. I could probably upgrade my memory as well. Currently have 8 gigs. Might bump it to 16.

Currently have 32GB
Will have 128GB in my next spin main desktop Why would you want 128GB or more RAM ? Well consider that I could have the game loaded into a ram drive I've got the single fastest storage device currently available without spending a hell of a lot of money And it's slow as compared to a RAM drive But being able to have 60-80GB of RAM drive and having 60-40GB left for Winders that's where its at http://1drv.ms/1KCfW4D |

Eight is the minimum I'd put in a new laptop these days. 32 on my rig and 16 on the one I'm building for my wife, but that's for a game that's going to be 64 bit end to end. |

OK: Confession time.
I've been playing Fallout3 (again). I have around 300 hours on F3. I JUST found that when you're trying to crack computers, that the nonsense gibberish in between password possibilities often contains hidden passkeys that will remove dud words, or give you extra attempts at guessing the right word. Am I the only one that didn't know this? Found this completely by accident. |
