Is that a tennis court in your backyard? Or some sort of alligator feeding pen (it is Texas, after all)?

That just means the snakes are gonna be delivered that much closer to you.

Our lakes and aquifers are desperate for water after years of serious drought.  Thanks for the pics.

Depends on where OP is. Around me, Lake Travis is still 20ft below full and Lake Buchanan is still 30ft below full.

Travis however, has come up 30ft in the last month.

how many times have you told that "big fish" story for that snake to be 8 foot?
friends have a lake house thats is 600 feet from the water normally
the lake is a few inches from being in the house

my neighbor took his rv to the lake
water came up and was a few feet from the rv over night
came way too close for comfort

Well, you no longer have a tennis court.

On the plus side, you now have a pool.

I had Google Earth up, so I plugged in Lake Arlington to check out how far down it was in their current/latest image.  You can see how far from the "shore" it is.  Holy smokes!

The funny part is, as soon as I zoomed in to the edge, I saw a tennis court (actually 2) and lo and behold, it appears to be your house.  No stalking bro.

tennis was big in the seventies and eighties apparently. lots of homes built around that time have tennis courts around here.
