Is it worth anything? 
Long story short, in high school my daughter was best friends with a girl who was a pretty decent artist. W paid her to paint our school's mascot on the Little League batting helmet that my sons both use. Her first paid gig. Fast forward a few years. Turns out that this girl went on to work as a tattoo artist and eventually got into drawing Hentai, including furry porn. Apparently she has quite a following these days among that crowd. 
No, the batting helmet doesn't have anything kinky on it. Just a growling animal head. It was quite a hit with the other kids on their teams' though. |

As for the friend, I don't actually know what name she goes by these days. My daughter has apparently kept in touch with her though and the discussion of her current occupation came up recently. I'll see if I can find out. Don't expect much though. She was once described as having a nose "like someone stuck half a potato on her face." ETA: I just tried Googling her, but I ain't clicking on any of the links that came up in the search.

I bet anything it still has the furry "style" of drawing. You can almost always spot a furry artist even if they're drawing something totally unrelated. I knew a girl in high school who turned out to be a furry. She was always drawing cartoon wolves, bears, etc. in that same style you see plastered all over Deviantart. |
