Galil ACE NATO.
From what I understand IWI will import the NATO version of the ACE eventually, and not the regular Galil ACE. As for stuff we can't get? HK G41

They still don't have the charging handle extenders, as far as I know at this point. The charging handle is a little short due to its ability to be switched from side to side. Beretta makes a little slip-on extension that makes it much more comfortable. |

I like the Tavor, but the Desert Tech and Kel-tec bullpups 5.56mm also look neat. It'll be interesting when they come out, and I hope it will push the price of bullpups down as the competition increases. I'd love to see decent sub-$1K bullpups on the market.

I remember hearing that a few years ago, but never followed up. THAT is exactly what Bushmaster should have done in the early 90s. They had a potentially awesome little gun, and it just needed a little tweaking to be great - but in its original stock configuration was crap. And what did the idiots do? Just put it on sale and never bothered to support it - instead of just making a few easy tweaks to make it work. Since it wasn't covered by the AWB restrictions (not having a stock or bayonet lug), they could probably have sold tons of them, had they marketed it well. I REALLY like the side charging handle. 
So I'm pleased to see someone finally doing what should have been done 20 years ago. Of course now there are so many other cool bullpups, it's probably too late. |
