The cyclist, passing the offramp and in the process of moving over to the bike lane (where no traffic should be), gets hit by a truck that blew past the offramp and into the bike lane, with no horn or warning from the truck driver at all.
I hope he sued the piss out of the trucker.

Poorly designed lanes caught the driver off guard. Cyclists were way too lax in the SA. The few times I've been in a situation like that on a bicycle I'm on the shoulder with my head on a swivel and only cross over when certain it's clear. ETA- Trucker fucked up but cyclists were dumbasses for how the rode in condition white. If you're a minnow surrounded by sharks you'd better keep your eyes open and check your six. |

This was done a few weeks ago, and the consensus is that the event took place somewhere in Europe or a
Russia. Bicycles are apparently legal to ride in that road, though it doesn't look like a good idea. Someone got a physics lesson. |
