And if you're handy with a grinder and have a way to CC your own heads, you can save a ton of money My old roommate had tons of money, but we'd spend weeks testing and working on shit that wasn't a bought part, just to knock a tenth or two off a 1/4mle time. When we started playing with bikes, that shit got real retarded. I did stuff to new bikes that made some of my friends cry, and those same guys never could figure out why mine ran so well. |

I worked with a master tech who told me, instead of sending your heads to a machine shop, you can port them on the coffee table right in the living room. I followed his advice and it turned out great. I was running flat 13.0 on pump gas with a Barry Grant carb and driving the car 100 miles to the track and back home. |
