Las Vegas Attorney shows up 90 minutes late to court shit faced with some random whore in tow and gets his many lies exposed and crushed by the Judge and DA. Bit of a long watch at 30+minutes but well worth it.

For fucks sake, we wouldn't watch a 30 minute beheading video of Nancy Pelosi, why the fuck would we watch a drunk lawyer in court for 30 minutes?

I watched the whole thing. Pretty funny. I've known guys who can hide their liquor consumption very well and this guy ain't one of them. The judge just picks apart everything he says and he can't get any part of his story straight....down to the color of his car, when his Grandma died, what time he woke up etc etc etc. Whatta dipshit!

I can't believe he kept talking.
The judge seemed pretty cool though. He should have asked her out for drinks. |

So he blew 0.075 2.5 hours after arriving in court at 11:15, tested at 1:45.

"Officer Vargas... is as far as I know... a gentleman." LOL "I've known her at least, uhhhhhhhhhh, 20 minutes" very nearly made Officer Vargas lose his shit. |

I have seen this happen in my time as an LEO, although it seems the lawyers who like to get wasted have moved away from booze and mostly do pills now.

The problem was the judge wasn't drunk too. So they were operating on two different frequencies.

I've been in court when Attorney Tom Connolly show up under the influence of..... He argued that his client should not be taken into custody because it was his birthday. When the Judge denied that, he said his client was going to enlist in the military and fight in the Middle East. She remanded the defendant into custody IIRC. Connolly walked out of the court. He later became a State Assemblyman and is now a Registered sex Offender.

My old buddy got out after a couple (three?) years and he's free now. What'd he do? He was being charged with kidnapping, and either coercion or false imprisonment? It had to do with some made-up accusations from his (now ex) wife, who was a nut job. There was video and photographic proof that she was somewhere by her own will that wasn't entered as evidence because the drunk attorney was a fuck-up, as well. This all happened about 10 years ago, and most of the details were relayed to me secondhand, I've seen Dale since the trial/jail stuff but haven't brought it up. |

I guess be thankful there were no video cameras in court in the old days, I think coming back sauced from lunch was not unheard of ( before my time)

Fucking awkward but at least the cop didn't show and the ticket was dismissed. |
