Just throw in the 2 top teams from the Big 12 since no playoff and a sprinkling of other teams from the other conferences occasionally. That gives you a pretty simple top 10 right there. It's really hard to have 3 there when it's all over. Your just ragging on the SEC in all reality for having so many highly ranked preseason year in and year out. You know, the conspiracy man. |

And since the thread is about to start in earnest this week, I'd just like to say now before we all forget about it in the heat of the season that the reason we're all discussing college football on this forum is because despite the different schools we attended or support, we all love guns and freedom. Wouldn't want to talk football anywhere else, and this is hands down my favorite thread and favorite group of folks on Arf.

Around week 3-4 in the season is when it starts getting easier to see who is for real. It definitely would be very interesting to see how well each analyst's predictions stacked up against the results. I've been particularly thinking about how the Fantasy Football talking heads stacked up. I dont know if they are NFL level, but they are very talented and good........could possibly the best DL that Bama has had in awhile, now that everyone is healthy and ready to go.........and the secondary will be much more aggressive since Mel Tucker arrived and got them going.
