One mistake people make when looking for hook echos is using composite reflectivity.   you generaly need base ref 0.5 degree sweeps.

I'm guessing the "white spots" are the points of interest?

when adding pictures, can you (you all, not you specifically) explain the picture / what to be looking for? Not everyone has the weather background but (like me) wants to learn

Stay safe everybody!

'Naders terrify and fascinate me at the same time, never seen one in person, don't think I ever want to.

I will stick to earthquakes thank you very much.

No way to know until damage assessments can be done. That is determined by engineers observing the damage done and using building techniques of the residential and commercial buildings impacted in the area. Usually takes a week or so for that no to roll out.

Basically, we're trying to warn guys on here. I'd be happy to explain stuff once the danger is past.

I'll butcher the explanation but here goes: That image is  "dual polarization" derived. It isn't just precip, but also basically looks at the regularity of the radar echoes (width vs height, and how those correlate with neighboring echoes). All around it looks mostly like precip, but there's this big ball of something that reflects differently.

The blue is the area of irregularity, so likely the echo of debris.

that was my next guess, but my first thought was that it would be toward the outside of the circle, not concentrated in the center
