Every evening. Sometimes twice on Sunday if the weather is good. She is 13 and still going strong.

Beau Bleu has 3 fenced acres to play on and a Dexter Bull to torment. He doesn't need to be walked.

Used to do at least 3 nice walk through our woods a day, however, poor old Snoopy had the big one 16-April-15.
Not counting letting him out to 'go'. Is interesting, even a Dog that gets to run free, they like being on a collar and a leash, at least they do if they have a good owner. They live to make us happy, we do the same for them. |

I had a miniature long haired wiener dog which never got walked. She would run around the back yard with the kids and get her energy out. I'd let her out two or three times/day and she would do her business. She didn't like to walk too far with her little legs, just run around in the grass for awhile and take a nap in the sun with her belly to the sky. Man, I miss Miss Lucie. She was a great part of the family. View Quote Sounds cozy, a little trot and some sun shine on her belly. |

Usually 4 times a week off leash for exercise and training. We also have a fenced in yard so he has all the opportunity to run around that he wants. Doesn't seem to ever wear him down, though. http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l369/IIRC/943CBD03-874E-4DE2-96A1-D3D45329E35A_zps9mzmvhju.jpg http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l369/IIRC/77E36A6D-A37A-4FF0-877A-4F307B0685B0_zpsqxwhanv5.jpg View Quote I took my shorthair out for a run tonight. He's 5 months old and I just figured out he's not leash trained. I drug him a half mile out and gave up and drug him a half mile back. I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but shorthairs are a little stubborn. We're working on the leash for the next few days. |

In the summer she gets walked every day, in the winter if me and/or wife can stand the cold. Holly is an american eskimo so she lays around in the snow for fun, lol.

Sparky gets walked 3-4 times a week. Always leashed, period. http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab250/Timcohydronics/IMG_3081_zpsgiqcslgy.jpg View Quote Every day weather permitting. Sometimes twice, my house backs up to a forest preserve and we will take a short walk thru there and a real walk. |

When we lived in the country, I played ball with the pooch every day, rain or shine.
But, we're in a condo now so he gets 3 walks to the dog spot. He's leashed, but runs free at the park. |
One run every morning, unleashed in the yard. One walk every evening, leashed, up the street.
When I had a dog I walked her 6 days a week. Monday through Thursday we walked before work in my neighborhood. Saturday and Sunday we usually did a mountain bike ride somewhere fun. I really miss that ol'girl!
Never they are either running wild on our property, inside sleeping, or going for a ride
Never, unless I take him to the lake. They have 3 acres to run and chase squirrel or each other.
Play football with one 3 or 4 times a week but he's getting old and the other could care less about chasing a ball. |
I walk my two dogs first thing in the morning, when I get home in the afternoon, and then once more at night. My yard has no poo in it.
1x per day, 2miles everyday. 1 yr old terrier mix. 1x per day 600 yds everyday. 15 yo pug

Madison doesn't get walked. I let her roam in the back yard.
We play inside and outside with the frisbee. |
Once in the morning and once in the evening, right at a two mile circuit. Sister has a dog business and has her in the middle of the day.
HA..Wife unit walks them in the morning and in the evening, then they come and lay by daddy.
She does everything for them and all they want is daddy love. But at bed time the Chihuahua is all hers. |
This is a slicker-man thread, right?
Having to walk dogs and all. |
Never. Just open the back door and let them chase each other around the fenced in back yard. Then they come back inside and chase each other around the living room...and the kitchen...and the dining room...and up and down the hallway...you get the idea.

I try to take Snoop out once a week or more, we go on long ones & he loves every minute of it.
Once a day when on my wife and I's workdays. Twice a day on our days off.
I do personally at least 2x a day for 30 minutes. The kids probably walk them another 3x a day but for only 10 minutes.
Apartment living sucks, except in the summer, when all the nearly nekkid chicks are around the pool, right on my walking route. |
Atleast once a day 30 minutes. I used to take them on a 10 mile hike atleast twice a week but my small shepherd blew her knee out a few months ago. She's better now so hikes will be starting again soon.

Walking the dog is a euphemism for taking the dog outside so it can take a shit, right?
Daily. And run 2 times a week. And get the ball thrown to them 2-3 times a day. Tired dog is a happy dog.

Three times a day. Before work, after work and before bed. Distance varies, shorter when very hot or very cold. Where I walked he could go off leash for a half mile.
Between dogs now |
2-3 miles per day. More when we are free to hike.
1-2 in the winter |
