Who doesn't know that Goering was Hitler's henchmen?
Europoors of all people should know that, especially British ones, because he was mostly in charge of the Battle for Britain. I can't blame them too much though, since the headline is from a UK tabloid. |

Mixed feelings.
Obviously money and property that he stole is fair game. On the other hand, the Goering family was pretty wealthy before the war - should that money be taken away from his descendants? She doesn't help her case by asking for a painting that her father stole and gave to her. |

View Quote If you go drunk driving and kill a couple people in a car, your family will probably lose its wealth in a civil lawsuit to the victims that were killed. Multiply that by several million and yes, they're left with nothing. However, I do appreciate that she doesn't go shitting on her father. Not from an 88er standpoint, or anything her father was evil, I just appreciate the family loyalty. |

Holding the child responsible for the sins of the father is a pretty dangerous road to go down.

She refused to criticize he father. Good for her.
They refused to give her money she hadn't earned. Good for them. So what is the problem here? |

This isn't punishing her for her father's sins.
Her father was punished which meant he had nothing to leave her. Big difference. Nobody actually took anything from her that was ever hers to begin with. |

I went through the 101st museum one day when I was stationed there...and to this day the only things that I can remember in there were a glider and a pair of Goering's pants. Maybe she can sue to get them back.
