Met the man a few times around rodeos when I was a kid. That was his real personality. Good man, very dry sense of humour.

I used the line "endeavors to persevere" in an Enlisted Performance Report (EPR) while in the AF. It made it in and from then on I tried to include movie quotes in every EPR I wrote. No one ever caught on and all of them made it in.
