Nobody had any inkling a small time towel head in cave would organize a group to fly 4 airplanes into major us buildings. As a matter of fact, they did. The SOF and intel communities had been warning about a major attack on US soil for a decade. This point was driven home with every AQ attack on US entities (barracks, embassies, housing) over seas, and at home (first WTC attack?!). European intel agencies had warned about Atta's crew meeting with known financiers of terror. AQ had published their intention to hit the world trade center. Clinton created a blind spot you could fly a plane through. It would not have happened without Clinton's failure to provide for the national defense. all that not withstanding, it still happened on GWBs watch. so there's that. After 8 years of Clinton's failings, it happened 9 months into Bush's first term. Applying the traditional progressive inability to accept responsibility for anything, yes, that makes it Bush's fault. to the liberals, everything is bush's fault. |

Now you are trolling. no im serious. how does the foundations assets enrich him (or her)? "...Between 2009 and 2012, the Clinton Foundation raised over $500 million dollars according to a review of IRS documents by The Federalist (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008). A measly 15 percent of that, or $75 million, went towards programmatic grants. More than $25 million went to fund travel expenses. Nearly $110 million went toward employee salaries and benefits. And a whopping $290 million during that period — nearly 60 percent of all money raised — was classified merely as “other expenses...” http://thefederalist.com/2015/03/02/the-u-s-constitution-actually-bans-hillarys-foreign-government-payola/ blame tax law. Didn't he balance the budget and leave the country financially sound or something like that? View Quote A Republican controlled Congress did that - Clinton was dragged to the table (wisely) by his advisers. He vetoed Welfare reform twice, before Dick Morris convinced him that he was not going to get a second term unless he went with popular opinion on it. Of course, a generation that gets it's news & history from Jon Stewart & Seth MacFarlane would never know that. |

The guy has a certain charisma, it's hard to argue that.
He was an average President, at best, and while he did less harm to the country than the current POTUS, he did some. I did not then and would not now vote for him for President. I might share a beer with him, though, in a purely non-business or political forum. That being said, I liked Bush 2 and voted for him twice. I would gladly shake his hand and have a beer with him. I didn't agree with everything he did, but that's politics, which are rarely truly black and white and easy to work in. |
