Are you talking about the knives or that bottle of something in the back?
|
|
How about a clear picture of the bottle? Nobody cares about your expensive knives.

I bought one at Target yesterday on a whim and it was quite good.

I love "Throwback" Mountain Dew, so I'll have to try this out...

It's gross. It just taste like slightly carbonated, slightly lime flavored, very thick, sugar syrup.

Looks like beetus in a bottle. View Quote I'm guessing at least 45 grams of sugar per bottle. Good for PepsiCo to stick with real sugar but for Christ's sake, cut back the sugar in half. Old versions of Pepsi/Coke were half as sweet as they are now and it's simply not called for. |

So at least this is a tiny step in the right direction. But they could probably cut back to 110 calories and still keep it plenty sweet enough. Mountain Dew is good, but it is really incredibly over-sweetened to start with. If they could make it a tad more tart I think I'd like it better. |

I was just a kid then but today's stuff does seem very different. I guess stuff gets changed so gradually you don't really notice it. Then one day you finally realize you have something totally different. BTW, I just picked up one of those 12 oz glass bottles of Mexican Coke everyone is talking about on the way home. I'll get it good and cold, chug it and see if it jogs any memories of the stuff that was around when I was a kid. I just hope the "Hecho en Mexico" label doesn't mean I'm setting myself up for a case of dysentery....or something worse. But for a Coke made with real sugar, I'm willing to risk it. |
