Para  P12, 12+1 with the thumb safety  on.
Click off the safety  squeeze the trigger and bang. And then of course the 300 blackout pistol in the wardrobe closet, that needs to be racked.

PSA AR 15 in the bedroom, Glock 22 with Lone wolf conversion on the nightstand. Winchester 1300 downstairs in the office loaded but unchambered. Gramp's old school duster 410 22 over and under single shot by the door. Nothing is chambered except for my carry piece which is a SIG P 938 which I keep on me or inside the nightstand when I sleep.. I have a little nephew that comes over to visit. Gotta keep the little bugger in eyesight.

My kids are grown and gone and no grandkids yet. . I have a small house (roughly 1100 sq ft) and a firearm in Condition one or two, no more than seven paces from any point in the house

I keep a Remington 870 riot gun with Ghost ring sights and a Surfire foregrip light behind my closet door between my safe in condition 3, chamber loaded, 6 in the tube and safety on.

The only way to get at this gun is to walk in my closet and at least partially shut the door to even see it.

If the buffalo come for me Im going to be lucky to get at it. Dont want to play load and shuck.

XDM 9mm in nightstand when sleeping, on quick access point when watching TV, on me when walking the yard or outside, Sig PM400 AR Pistol next to night stand and an SR22 as a backup. All with extra mags. No kids, just wife and 3 dogs, and 4 catz.

One neighbor carries when he is out in his yard as well :)

I have guns stashed all around the house, fully loaded and ready to fire(safeties on if they have them). I also don't have kids in the house and rarely have guests over.

Alternate between a glock 21sf and a colt 1911 on nightstand condition one.  12 ga pump hanging on bed side.  Condition two.  And an ar in the corner of the room with loaded mag none in chamber.  No kids. If people come over they get locked up.  The guns do too..  40 is MINIMUM caliber size for bed side gun.  45 is a no brainer.  Im not lugging it around all day or trying to conceal so no reason not to go big!

I keep all my firearms in the safe except a g26 in a quick access safe on my night stand. I live in a really rural quiet area so Im not too concerned about intruders.

I have just about every pistol I owned stashed about, loaded and hidden. The primary HD weapon is my Beretta M9A1 with X300 (loaded and chambered), that usually sits next to my pillow on a folded sheet (I don't have a nightstand due to space issues). I have my AR with a light on it behind a door, loaded mag but empty chamber.

I keep my Mossy 930 leaned on the wall behind the bedroom door, 6 in the tube, one ghost loaded on the lifter, empty chamber, safety on. From what I've practiced, it doesn't add any time to getting the gun ready if I work the bolt as I'm picking it up, yet makes it so that three things need to happen in order to fire, load a round in the chamber, safety off, trigger pulled, instead of two, safety off, pull trigger. Extra layer of precaution in case my nephews are around or one of my dumbass buddies are screwing around without me looking.ETA: Please read my 2nd post before going off on me, sheesh.

Which one?
Rifles and shotguns are all patrol loaded. Either loaded tube or magazine, empty chamber bolt closed, safety off. Handguns are loaded with a round in the chamber.

Glocks don't have "safeties". Certainly not 3 unless you order them that why or modify them. This is for a reason. It's a good one.

Two G17s: chambered, all three safeties on, stored in both side's nightstand cabinet - wife's 17 has a laser.

I have three kids under three and a half.  Bedroom door has a keypad lock on it.  It does not matter who comes over, when, or how.  Only my wife and I are allowed in there.

I usually have a pistol on me in the house too.

Glocks do have safeties.  Three of them to be exact as I have previously stated.

Mossy 500 loaded with 00 anti-goblin shot out of reach of my son (for now), but easy reach of me and my wife.  Bersa thunder (wife's) and P7 PSP (mine) in the biometric, soon to be replaced by an RFID, safe in the nightstand. That's all the info you're getting from me.

yes but as you know they are not anything you "have on" or "place on" or select. So its pretty silly state "all three safeties on" as if it something special or different.  You don't have choice.

I like your style OP.

The old 590 behind the bedroom door.

I keep mine in "hot stand-by" - empty chamber, trigger pulled, safety off.  Rack it and go.

Pistol in electronic safe beside the bed is ready to rock with one in the chamber.

If understand this correctly, you have a shell on the lifter with the bolt closed. When you cycle the bolt when it's Go Time, doesn't that pop another round from the tube?

ahhh the benefits of not having ankle biters running around my house. I keep my shit close, loaded, and ready to rock at a moments notice. My wife knows how to handle my guns, so no safety worries there. No Feinstein-approved 'gun in a safe in one room and the ammo locked in a safe in another room' bullshit here.
