And all of those constituencies voted for the Dems last time. And the time before. And the time before. etc. HOWEVER, their turnout varies. Blacks are not going to turn out in nearly the numbers they did in the last 2 elections. Hispanics? That's a toss up. Union members? The Dems record the past 8 years has been mixed. They've gotten a ridiculously lopsided NLRB giving them whatever they want, and more. But the Administration just announced that the Unions would not be exempt from the "Cadillac Tax" on their health plans, which Obama promised them specifically in order to get their support for O-care. They may not be as willing to man the phones and drive the transportation as they were last time.
Bullshit. For a few reasons:
1) Women favored Obama in the 2008 primaries over Clinton
2) In 2012, Obama only won the women's vote by 10 points, and lost handily among married women
3) Typically, women are more affected by personal campaigning and face to face time. They place more emphasis on personal connections in making decisions. And women also typically judge other women more harshly than they do men. By all accounts, Clinton is a horrible face to face campaigner. She is cold, impersonal, and has a very bad RBF (Resting Bitch Face.) So, while there may be a strong compulsion to *choose* a woman over a man on general principle, when faced with choosing THAT woman over a man, actually sealing teh deal becomes a tougher sell. You may start to see the feminist equivalent of the ARFcom defeatist meme: "I'd rather stay home than vote for XXXX."
Hillary is beatable with the right candidate and right campaign. And I seriously have to wonder how many of the "Hillary is unbeatable the end is nigh" posts come from DU plants. The only purpose for them can be to depress voter turnout among conservatives. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quote History Quoted:

I fully concur on all counts. I suspect that there are some posters on this site whose job it is to weaken the opposition.
