Today's match got shortened to 50 shots, but currently in a ceasefire/evac due to lightning.
I shot a 96/100-1x with the carbine tho |

So I was looking over my ammo fort...and I have 1k rounds of Garand 30-06. I have no Garand
CMP is out of everything but jacked up field grades with "considerable pitting above the wood line"
Gunraper.com has loads...at 150% to 200% markup. I know capitalism and all that..but FUCK people that buy CMPs just to resell.
Hope they get their thumbs fucking yanked off. ETA Once I do get a Garand..I plan to reload for it. No clue where to start, I've been casually reading up a little, and the last 2 pages were a good read

I'm taking the RPAL course beginning of July.
 
RPAL = barrels under 18.5", OAL under 26", and handguns. Then I rented a B&T APC9 and shot.  
Haven't gone shooting in years
I understand PCCs now...just not ones that use Glock mags.
25 round mags felt like freedom 
(ranges can have prohibited stuff, "normally" the APC9 mags would be pinned to 5 round capacity )

93  My Prone Rapid position felt wrong. I didn't notice a wind pickup, if anything a dropoff. Camp Swift can be tricky like that.
 Attached File166 I should've tried a brighter setting to help shooter precision, my elevation was excessive. The adjustment clicks weren't "hard" enough to be precise, hurting windage. Even then, I kept most shots within the width of the 9-ring, I think.
