That spot for the go-pro don't look like a bad spot. Try it there one night and see how the video is. I always wanted to put on the rear bumper, but never got around to buying one and now I don't race. I'm looking forward to some cool vids VRM. You run this weekend?

For a lot of years, Fridays were a day of slowly building anticipation and excitement, now I just mow the lawn and watch the
trucks and trailers go by. Stay on the gas until you see God, then back her into the corner. Good luck tonight. |

Well VRM I'm drinking some beer for ya. Hope you don't get all unloaded and then rained out. Have a good run.

Longer to stay out of Chicago. I probably wouldn't be a dependable crew based on 14 hours to get there |

Nice!
You really get pelted with dirt when behind another car, huh? Does your helmet have tear offs? |

That camera location seemed to work out really well for use guys in the internet peanut gallery.

The go-pro seems to be mounted in a good spot. Did you get in the loose stuff trying to make that pass or was it case of too much throttle? The trashed wheel sucks, but those things happen. The car seems to be getting better. Keep at it VRM good results are just ahead.

Stay on the gas until you see God, then back her into the corner. Good luck tonight. According to Google it would only be a 7 hr 52m drive. One way. I once drove to Lincoln and back in one day for some Hurst Olds parts, but I was a lot younger then. If I can get down into your neck of the woods, I'll gladly scrape mud, dump gas on my boots then weld a shock mount back on, mount tires by hand with a screwdriver and a fence post, bolt lava hot starters back on after dragging them around for a 10 lap heat or any of the other glory filled tasks found in the pits. The stories I could tell. Seriously though, I always had an awesome pitcrew. Most of the time I pitted with 3 or 4 other drivers and we were essentially a 4 car "team". Plenty of help when it was needed. Hopefully, you can pick up a couple guys that are handy and at least want to learn. You're doing the right thing by preparing everything the night before. |
