Good luck. Of course, we all expect a gopro in car video. My buddy that races uses one and gets great footage. His son has one mounted in his Legends car. Last year it was mounted on top. He bumped tires with a guy and flipped it a couple times going into a corner. Didn't get hurt but it knocked the camera off. In the video you can see the guys walking up and picking the gopro up off the asphalt. All it did was crack the case. He sent it in to gopro, hoping they'd appreciate it and maybe get a free case. No reply whatsoever. Lol |

Quoted: Inferior I think Guys are buying and have a lot newer equipment We will see though View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Best of luck. How do you think she stacks up with the competition? Guys are buying and have a lot newer equipment We will see though I've done some racing. They are blowing by you, because of a couple of reasons. First off, you are scared to wreck your car. Every new racer feels this way. Get more seat time, you will get the feel for it. Stay lower on the track. The stickier clay is towards the middle. Sure, you have to kick your ass out to turn, but you cant get it to hook up if your in the dryer shit high on the track. May have to adjust some brake bias, stagger or air pressure to help you get the right weight transfer and traction. Good luck. |

I started racing in 1985 on up through 2005
I started out in a street stock type class and in 1990 I bought a late model. I raced that until 1994 and another track started a truck class that I raced in until 2000 I won the track championship in 97 and 98. I bought a sprint car and raced that for a couple of years and then I built a hobby stock and raced in 2004 and 2005. I won one feature each year. I got a small write up in Speedway Illustrated when Dick Bergren (sp) was at our track. So, I haven't really raced for 10 years and it showed last October but I'm hoping it will be a little smoother at the beginning this year. Me in the black truck |
