Well, I saw one in 1989 and have always wanted to get one.  I do wish it was Austrian green, but can't have everything.  It is the NATO stock 16" and runs like a top.  Put the Aimpont PRO on it and it is accurate even with the hard but manageable trigger pull.  It has about 250 rounds through it now.

Had the Fiancé shooting it yesterday and she did well with it offhand.  Not a big girl and it worked for her!

Augs are chick magnets.  It's by far my wife's favorite gun to shoot.

I've just about settled on an M1 with a 3x, but PJS was out the last time I checked.

Thinking about it.  Another few hundred rounds and maybe a little silicone lube on the wear spots on the trigger.  If it is still an issue I will order that.  I find the trigger heavy, but it is pretty smooth as is and does surprise me at the break.  It is certainly a combat trigger.  I have plenty of target / national match triggers in various weapons stored at the bottom of a lake (tragic boating accident and all), so I am very familiar with "good" triggers.  Do you have the Neutrigger and what is your view?

Neutrigger is sweet and affordable.
What barrel do you have, Sabre defense or fn chf?

On the right side just above where it is labeled steyr aug/serial # if you can see markings on the barrel through the little window in the receiver it is a sabre barrel.

I had a green one with the integral "donut of death" scope for a couple of years.

Neat gun but I shot my AR way more.  I ended up trading it for a Mk23, a HK Tactical, and a standard USP plus some cash here on the EE.

Now you need that 9mm conversion kit.  Honest - it is a lot of fun and cheap to shoot.

Thanks!  I would imagine they would be rare in Bhutan..

It is very different feeling, but fun and SBR sized for the most part.
