Gen 2 or gen 3....and why
Link Posted: 3/29/2015 9:56:02 PM EDT
[#1]
Gen 2 because they're cheaper and come in colors.

Use any mag that works reliably.  Pmag or not.  In the dark you tend to not notice anything but jams.

Gen 3 drops free from fewer lowers. Gen 2 all the way.

Is it an AR?

If so, get the G2, it has a cool window.

Gen 2. Because I have a 120mm mortar can full of them, still in wrappers, and I don't want to buy any more.

And it's slightly off topic, but my HD mags are full of Critical Defense and/or Z-Max. Then there's also the mountain of C-Products mags with a mix of 193 & 855...

Whatever works. If gen 3 functions flawlessly in your rifle, I see no reason not to use it. Same goes for gen 2.
My HD AR has a Lancer AWM ready to go with it. I also have gen 2 pmags, but haven't purchased any gen 3.

Translucent lancer, because it isn't an outdated technology like a Gen 2.

I got 2 Gen2 PMAGs with the Magpul mag coupler in my HD SBR.

Mags fail.  I conceal carry a backup, HD rifle has a backup.

Same here. Belt has 30s on it....I think they are Gen 2, not sure... Rifle has a 40rd in it, with the bolt closed to keep pressure off the feed lips.

I have a Gen 1 in mine? Do you think I could survive a home invasion?

Should I get Gen 3s or wait for Gen 4? Is there a 501c that will accept the 70 Pmags I bought in 2008?
