My current fav is Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, with a bottle of lubro moly mos2 added. Purrs and revs like a Siberian tiger. |

Motul for the GTI
Motorcraft for the truck Rotella for the bike |

Car, Quaker State Ultimate Durability, Full Synthetic
Bike, Mobil 1 or Castrol Full Synthetic |

I use a high mileage blend. I can't remember what brand it is. I think it is Pennzoil or Mobile 1.
I started using that stuff around 150,000 miles. I'm up to 165,000 or so. So far the engine sounds a little smoother when it runs. I'm not sure if there is a major benefit to high mileage oils, but the truck seems to like it. My guns and bicycle chains get what ever is left over in the bottom of the oil bottle. Sometimes transmission fluid if I am feeling rebellious. |
For both my '13 and '11 Toyotas I use Genuine Toyota 0W-20 synthetic. It's supposed actually be pretty good stuff and I get it fairly cheap.
Brothers, don't discount this stuff until you try it: I currently run it in my VQ and MB engines, and, you just have to try it before you judge it. I also ran it in previous Explorer and Expedition and Armada engines, and it was just magic. |

Whatever is on sale.
The vast majority of people neither change their oil, have avast enough fleet, or have the proper equipment to analyze the used oil to give truly informed advice. So their opinions are utterly worthless and nothing more than a popularity contest. Simply choose the oil that has the proper grade that is required for your car’s engine at the cheapest price and be done. |

mobile 1 for the gassers, and rotella for the diesels (once i use up the 4 gallons of other stuff that i got cheap).
Wix filters all around. |
Castrol GTX in my car and truck, H. D. Syn3 in the Harley's.
BTW, as a side question...... Is it just me that is wondering how come gas prices went way down the last few months, but a quart of oil is STILL around $4.00?????? |
Valvoline Max Life for my truck, Mobile One V-twin for my bike.
Group 5 Esther based synthetics only for me. Motul, AmSoil, Brad Penn, Redline
I run UOA every few changes just to check the health of the motor. |
Whatever Toyota puts in my Tundra. Still have 3 or 4 more free service changes. After that probably Mobile 1. Always worked well for me
Napa brand synthetic mixed with a single quart of royal purple.
May be adding Lucas oil products in the future, depending on how I feel in 1200 miles from now |
Our Toyota dealer puts 0-20 Mobil1 in our Tundra.
We supply 5-30 Mobil1 for our Tacoma & Yaris. |
I've used Pennzoil for 24 years now and I have no complaints.
Mobil1 and rotella t6.
Just put mobil1 high milage in my john Deere with a fram ultra synthetic filter today |
Mobile1 European car formula 0W40 because it is one of only two "BMW LONGLIFE OIL 01" approved oil commonly available, Wal-mart always has it in stock and it is much cheaper than the approved Castro synth.

I loved T6 for the GTI. Even tuned, with hard driving and lots of short trips, plus Texas heat, UOA said it was still good after 10k miles.
Not sure what I'll put in the Mustang, leaning towards a full syn 5w30 of some sort. |
Amsoil in everything. From the Duramax, motorcycles and on down to the snowblower and chainsaws. It's been good stuff. I even use the 0w20 on my ARs

My car has a single spec oil: Castrol TWS 10W-60 View Quote Someone owns a "M" car. I use factory BMW oil this is left over from oil changes. I believe it is made by Pennzoil. Good enough for 15k in German cars. Good enough for 5k in my car. |
