All of those Illegal Aliens 0bama wants to make legal. Well guess what they will be able to collect Social Security! And when they bring Momma, and Papa in the country. They will be able to collect too, if they reach retirement age Having NEVER PUT ONE PENNY INTO THE SYSTEM. How do you like that!

I've made the SS payout probably 10 of the past 12 years by working assloads of OT (doubt I'll hit it this year since they keep raising it), but I'd still happily let the SS system die so I can keep more of my money now. You can have what seems like a sizable portion of the population that is for conservative fiscal policies.......right up until the point where they are the one who will be taking a screwing. The nasty truth of the matter is, we are never going to get out of the proverbial "fiscal hole" we have slid into as a country without causing some pain for quite a few people. Most of these people, no matter what they say on a day to day basis, would rather the can be kicked down the road a little farther before they'd be OK with feeling a little pain themselves, even if that pain wouldn't really effect them negatively in the grand scheme of things. They want their fair share! |
