after listening to a certain player go on and on about my grind of the Izumo, I decided to stop putting up with the suck.
I free XP'd about 100K last night, sold a bunch of shit and bought Yamato. Now, I expect 2 of you pricks with Yamatos to be up for most honorabu division tonight.  |

I played a game last night in my beloved Murmansk. Did it get netted again or did tanks make me rusty? I got a lot of hits but could do any damage. I really had a hard time sinking a Tenryu. Hit him with Ap and HE but couldn't finish him. Also could finish a 8000hp Fuso. He and Ap to the superstructure wasn't doing anything. Finally got him with some torps, but not until I was pulverized myself.

The preponderance of torpedoes passing by continuously through the match is obnoxious. Torps need a maximum range of 10km, or smaller number launched when launching 20km. I'd like to see the Shima only get 3 torps on the long range torps. Launching 15 torps at the beginning of the match is fucking ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous is the fact that it is a viable option that often nets a hit or two. |

4 losses in a row on the Udaloi. The teams have been really stinky tonight.
I've had BBs just go off in on the edge by themselves, and don't even engage any baddies until end game when they are the only ones left. Worse than they, the BBs go off in a pack to the edge. |

Torp speed + detection distance + planes everywhere + radar sonor + thick armored battleships really put a dent in how much torp damage is done. I've had yammy's dodge all 15 shima torps. Could just be luck but it happens fairly consistently. |

So, I'm in my Shimakaze in close combat with a fletcher. Friendly Mogami torps me with 4 torps. takes me from full health to dead instantly. I get compensated 86k. Repair cost is much more. I lost 36 in the match. That is bullshit.

I've seen A LOT more pink ships when I play now. It used to be once a week or so. Now it's 2-3 times a day. But i'm with you OP. I dodge more friendly torps then enemy ones in my DD's. I'll be in a knifefight with another DD and assclowns will be launching spreads 5-8km away.

They changed the rules for team damage.
I believe that any team kill turns you pink now. ETA found this on the forums. My guess is they are trying to make people be more careful where they launch torps: Other Changes and Fixes: We increased the penalty for damaging and destroying allied ships. From now on, a player can receive "team killer" status even if they caused relatively slight damage to an ally. A player will instantly receive the "team killer" status when they destroy an allied ship EETA, also found this: Just remember that pink now does double damage back to you for any teammate damage. |
