Interesting. Dodgers won, lined up in the infield to high five the Marlins and the Marlins never came out of the dugout and left. So the Dodgers just high fived themselves.

speaking of marlins, looks like stanton will be out at least four weeks with a hand break.. fucking sucks... he's been lighting it up this season...
|
|
I have no idea how that happened. I guess t happened during the game I went to but we never saw him hurt. He was having a really rough time getting a hit but I never saw anything that would've hurt him.

Samardzjia had shut out the Tigers through 7. They load the bases in the 8th with no outs. Then he beans Kinsler to force in a run, 4-1 Sux. Then Alphabet strikes out Cabrera, 1 out. First pitch to Vmart, he CRUSHES a 3 run double. Tie game, RISP, 1 out, Cespedes and JD Martinez coming up.

I'm streaming last night's Mets/Reds game. It was called a Suspended Game last night after the Top of the 7th ended. So they're playing a Double-Header today. As I'm typing this the Bottom of the 13th has just started. Score is 1-1. http://www.armyparatrooper.org/dropzone/images/smilies/newsmilies/popcorn.gif View Quote GAME OVER! Bottom 5th, Game 2
The rookie pitcher Matz is pitching well as well as doing his job in the Batters Box. The score just became 3-2 Matz. |
|
out of Matz is now 3-3 with 4 RBI's! What a Start! About the only way he could have topped it is if he were pitching a shutout! |
|
Steve Matz set a Club Record for most RBI's for a Rookie's Debut in a Game.
Three Hits, one a double 4 RBI's And a Run Scored. Highly Decent performance outing as a pitcher, too. |

They were showing reaction shots of his parents on MLB TV after he hit that 2 run double. His dad was going nuts.

I also just wanted to point out that at this point Bryce Harper's OPS is fucking 1.189!. He's 22.
The prophesies were true. |

Altuve and Donaldson starting for the AL. As they should be. Royals still have 4 starters (Gordon, Cain, Escobar, Perez).
|

|
There are three active Tigers who should be All Stars; JD Martinez, Yoenis Cespedes and Jose Iglesias. David Price will probably go as a pitcher, but those other three deserve to be there more than any other AL player at their positions.

Jose Iglesias, JD Martinez and David Price all got in as All Stars. Yoenis Cespedes is in the final vote.
I encourage you guys to vote for Yo. He really is deserving. He is under rated. He makes the plays in the outfield and hits the ball hard all the time. I am really happy for Iggy and JDMart. Both first time All Stars. There truly is no better SS in the American League than Iggy. He's amazing. And JDMart? He was released last year on the last day of Spring Training and the Tigers got him for free. He came up mid season and all he's done is hit 45 homers since then. |
|
Now I'm streaming the Mets/Giants game.
Going into the bottom of the 4th and the Giants have made 3 Errors so far. At home the Mets would have scored at least once by now. But as they are The Road Worriers the game is scoreless. Oh, yeah: The Giants only have a single hit so far. |
|
JD Martinez has hit 15 homers in his last 23 games. That is the most for any Tiger since Hank Greenberg.

Vote Yo!
Seriously, this guy has been in the big leagues for three and a half years now. He was the first of the Cuban superstars, and he has been one of the most under rated players in the game. Trout, Miggy, Kershaw, Scherzer, now JD Mart, they get the nods, but I gotta say, watching this guy ever since he came over he has hit, he has run, he has thrown the ball and he makes the plays in the outfield. And yet, he has never been an All Star. Y'all know I don't think much of this game, but I really, truly feel that of the five AL candidates, Yo should go. And to be honest, I really hope the Tigers sign him after this season. I really would hate to see him leave the Olde English D. |

They're all deserving but I'd pick Dozier, then Gardner. Doesn't matter maybe Gardner and Cespedes both make it with Alex Gordon getting hurt last night.

I'm rooting for Cespedes too. Even though he continues to do the Mariners dirty, no matter what jersey he's wearing. Dude is the complete package. He can run, he can send the ball into orbit and he has a cannon for an arm. I'd take him over Puig any day, at least he cares about the game. |
