Aimless=penguin=favorite food: pickled herring. (See Bloom County, 1984)
NorCal_LEO=Not Penguin=favorite treat: Swedish Fish. Once widely rumored to have smiled upon receipt of package of said SF. Swedish Fish is a candy treat. Pickled Herring is not a treat for anyone but Finns and Penguins. Never confuse the two. I heard the last big Mod/Staff fight was when someone swapped the labels of two gifts of fish. Guess which two? (It wasn't me! But CSI said there were red hairs trapped under the labels. I'm just sayin......) ETA: No page 80 for me. Stupid counter! |

No surprise. If y'all remember from a few years ago, it was forbidden to say "In before <member name>." It was viewed as a callout. They've relaxed on that, a la "Quoted: Isolated Incident," etc.
The hammermill thing will be justified similarly. |

View Quote I tend to agree, but the spin offs ("_______ thread" for well known and generally liked members) were funny sometimes. I'm guessing since we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings and we need to treat everyone equal, you won't be seeing that anymore either. |
