I don't understand how people can do this animals.

I got the link from OP and donated using my credit card first time ever did anything on go fund me pretty good idea it was at 385 out of 5k. 8 donations so far...hope the pup keeps his leg and surgery is a success... give the pups a good forever home Op

Coming from a 2 yellow lab family, I salute you Sir. Thank you for taking these beautiful dogs into your home. I know it's going to be tough both financially and stressful, but these pups pups need you.
Please repost the GoFundMe link and I will donate what I can. Also, post up what you are feeding them and I'd be open to send food and other things my dogs enjoy. In that case, pm me your address and I'll send it from chewy.com (where we get our food)

This remind me of the one time I was at a gas station in Allentown. Middle of winter. Someone left a greyhound tied to a post. Apparently it was there for 2hrs already in the cold. I waited around and played with it for another hour just in case the owner changed their mind. Well, there was barely any room in my car with all my tools and bags but we roughed it for a 40 minute drive home. Posted the story and picture at our local supermarket and she had a home next day. To a couple I see around town all the time. They love the dog.
So a bump for this thread and I'm gonna try and cough up a few more dollars after I pay this weeks bills. |

Do you have an idea when the ortho vet will be able to see the pup and assess the situation? I am not a vet but it may be that getting other medical problems (like worms) cleared up and overall health improved with a good steady diet is essential before doing any surgery.
A little time also allows time for the funding issue to not be a barrier to the best option for the pup with the broken leg. |
