North Dakota?
California has 4-5 National Parks, including the first national park. I'd take Yosemite and Sequoia over any of those other states. Wyoming has one small area that's nice, the rest of the state is a barren wasteland. And I have been all over those states except KY and NC.

Beautiful place. Many other states are just as beautiful without the communism. NC, Kentucky, Idaho, Utah, WI, Upper Michigan, WY, MT, SD, ND and that's just a few.

"
Just as beautiful"?
These places may have areas that might be classified as beautiful, I won't debate that, I think all states have places that are pretty, beautiful, however you describe it. But "just as beautiful," and I'd also add, the quantity and variety of beautiful . . . nope.
When I go through Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico, there sure are lots of beautiful spots. SD has the Black Hills, which is a fascinating place, but the rest of the state is a pleasant flatness. ND I have no idea. NC and Kentucky are likely very pretty, but not the same variety and classification of beautiful. (Rolling hills are not the same as Half Dome or PCH or Avenue of the Giants.) Wyoming has some parts that are gorgeous. Same with Montana. Upper Michigan, I have no idea. Pretty lakes? Rolling hills?
It's just not the same. "Just as beautiful" implies that there will also be several National Parks, and the same kind of scenery, which there are not in those other states.
