In the spirit of last nights "Po Dunk Cop" thread from FL I will do a similar thread from literally as far away as you can get and still be in the lower 48.  I am on the job for the next 9 hours or so and will do my best to answer any legitimate questions.

I know we have two for the most part, on Sunday splitting 640 square miles of the county I live in.

Honestly, I dont know.  The vast majority of my districts are forested lands (DNR, National Forest, State, etc).  There are three smaller towns which I will look up for you shortly.  I was recently given a "non-disciplinary" reassinment from a very dense urban area.  This is certainly different.

No, there are probably 80 or so other Deputies on shift tonight as well.  My districts are just very large.

I like this.

After you answer the dental plan question, it's winter, so the summer shirtless maniacs must run differently. How do they act crazy in the winter?

Without a doubt "reckless shooting."  Rarely reckless...or shooting for that matter.

Glock 34 with a X300, three extra magazines, OC spray, a X2 (that will probably never be used), two sets of cuffs, two Pelican flash lights benchmade auto knife, Benchmade push dagger, and a hardwood baton.

Funny story about bigfoot...Ill have to type that one out when I have a couple minutes (Spoiler alert: It wasnt bigfoot).

When I first started in LE, I worked as a deputy in this county. Most of our shifts had 2 on, but I frequently worked alone for the whole county

Depends on the night, anywhere from zero to ten or fifteen.  Crime is pretty much like it is in other rural areas; drugs, theft to fuel drug habbits, DV, and DUI. It is winter and therefore cold, so it has been pretty quiet...other than last night.  UFC nights...

Why did I not get pulled over for that last night? That officer just sat there in his car looking at me like I was an idiot.

I think of it more like bodywash, try and keep it below the shoulders.  Considerably more paperwork when you hit up top.

When someone reports property theft or a stolen wallet, say less than $200 and they believe the thief tried to use their credit card at a gas station, would you go to the gas station and try to retrieve survalence footage?

380sq miles is like one small ranch...

Can we turn this into, my county is more rural than your county?

Some folks will bash you at some point.....but from what I know around here......being a county LEO, isn`t fun and games.

From what I have heard about, the county guys take on the worst of the bad guys while the city PD writes tickets.

I applied a few years back to become a LEO.

I guess it wasn`t meant for me to be one.

Tell me something OP.

If you had it to do all over again, would you have done something else?
