I'd think you want to support the home country and pick something up from Saab.

How long is it going to go between washes? Be honest. God washes it every time it rains. Okay, black is right out. Given this, I think I'd go with the Grey Metallic. Yeah, but I have had a sliver metallic for the last 10 years almost, so I kinda think black would be a nice change. Honestly, I am leaning towards the black. |

Drop the Pilot infatuation and get a Highlander. Best vehicle in its class at the present time. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I love the boxy look of the Pilot, so I have to get a new one before the ugly 2016 models hit the showrooms. |

Grey metallic. Dark cars are a pain in the ass to keep clean. Ask my wife and our daughter. Both of their cars are black.

Those pilots are nice. Good choice on the 4wd in this area. (Especially this month...) I voted silver but that grey looks good. My buddy has one in the grey I ride in and looks great.

You need spellcheck, I've already seen Toyota, 4runner, and tacoma misspelled in your poll.

The 2016 Pilot is all new. Make sure you get a good deal.
Edmunds says there is a $2750 dealer incentive until 3-2 |

Silver will wear the best out of the three and be a much easier paint match over metallic should there ever be a fender bender.

Not even a rise. I thought you would respond with the "that's racist" gif.
We just bought a Highlander, and it spec'd out and priced out better than the Pilot. The 3rd row seats were more doable for adult sized passengers (one of the main reasons we were getting a new vehicle). |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Exceptions to my pathalogical hatred of Sweden: ABBA (best music ever) Saab and Volvo (have owned a Volvo car and a Saab gun) Husqvarna (was issued a sub-gun made by them in the army) Marabou chocolate (best milk chocolate in the world) IKEA (where else can you get delicious meatballs with mystery meat?) We just bought a Highlander, and it spec'd out and priced out better than the Pilot. The 3rd row seats were more doable for adult sized passengers (one of the main reasons we were getting a new vehicle). The Highlander is obviously VERY comparable, and is also a spectacular vehicle. I just prefer the exterior styling of the Honda, and I do think there's a little more room inside the Honda (but that could just be my imagination). |

It is not just about black showing dirt.
A brand new black vehicle on the dealer lot will probably be something you can walk around and pick out some defects in the paint. Any imperfection shows up easily. Dealers generally wind up slightly scratching black vehicles in their dealer prep if the kid is new and does not care, and I think this exists everywhere. Those who special order something like a black corvette or something else often tell the dealer not to wash it or touch it. They will handle it or have the money to pay someone to properly detail it out. If wrecked, black does not always match well. Not sure how much this still applies with today's paints but it something to consider. As you live with the vehicle and daily drive it, little parking lot bumps and what not will show up way more with black. Sure you never wash it, someone bumping by it because they parked too close to you will install lots of tiny scratches into the paint of your vehicle because they don't care about your vehicle and the black loves to show imperfections. I have issues with just white vehicles, my tj has a black top and big gaudy eagle stickers on it so I can handle it being white. Other than that, I can't really handle white very well. I would go silver or grey or something along those lines because it will hide dirt decently but not be bright white. I ownder a black grand cherokee. Bought it new and while not as bad as you about washing it I was not that far from you on washing it. I parked out in the middle of no where and still had vehicles park by me while shopping and what not. When I got rid of it a few years later it had lots of little scratches and stuff. Sure they would mostly buff out but it really showed every little scratch. |

Amazing off-road vehicle. Better than anything else I've ever driven. But, for every day driving, I like the Pilot better, since I almost never go off-road. Plus, it's my wife that makes a lot of money - not me. |
