Just North of SA, near Bulverde...

If he's still looking for a home, I've been looking for a new dog.
Could pick-up/meet Monday.

Hell, scrapin' paint is a fair trade to check out a waffle house schemed "goat."
And that gives me some time to get the place ready for him.

He looks like a happy dag. And smart.

Love it when a plan comes together!!

Cool, I am for sure going to be in the area Monday late morning/noon-ish.  We can work something out then or for the following week, either way is fine.

Thanks for stepping up and giving this guy a home.  He is a very good-natured dog and pretty smart.   He picked up on sitting and waiting for his food without much effort.

Good to know and not a problem.

I'm going out of town this weekend and may not get back to the Hill Country till later in the day on Monday.
So if that works on your end, it's perfect on mine.

This is so cool!!
The last time I saw one of these threads, I thought "Man...!!, how cool would it be to have an arf-dog?"  and I've been keeping an eye out for one.

Andy,

Just wanted to check in...I wont be back in the Hill Country until Monday evening.
Just let me know when/where you want to meet up on the 9th.

Do you have a Paypal account?
I would be happy to send you some $ to help out with food, etc.
Just send info via pm.

OP what town are you in? I'm also 1.5 hours South of SA.

I'm a gauger in the oilfield, pretty much drive back roads all day. Unbelievable how many dogs I see dumped! People suck! Hope he finds a home.

If you want to kick in a little for the shots, that'll be ok.  I'll bring the reciept with me.   It'll just be rabies, parvo and a nexgard. ~$35 I think. And the Nexgards are good for a month or more.  I'll refrain from heartworm meds in case you decide you want to try the tractor supply-bought Ivurmectin for cattle.   I think you can get a dog's lifetime supply of that stuff (it's concentrated for 1,000 pound beefs) for around 50 bucks.
