I need an answer fast and don't want to deal with the "this has been posted before, topic deleted" dupe patrol that haunts the tech forums.
New rifle and I need a rear BUIS.
Looking at:

KAC 600M

Matech flip up

MBUS Pro

MBUS
Price doesn't matter, I want lightweight and durable.

Of your choices I'd get the Matech.

Any other solid choices I missed? I'd rather not give Troy or ARMS my money but if they make the best then they make the best and that's that.

Lightweight and durable? The MBUS Pro ain't too shabby in those areas from what I've seen so far.

I haven tried them but the new Spikes BUIS look nice, otherwise I usually buy Troy.

Dunno, never liked the Magpul ones.

Still Like my ARMS 40L, but I dont follow the politics of why everyone hates arms Now.   Also use a troy Front IS

Arms was the Shit in 06. So whatever.

This, but I am also rather partial to the old ARMS #40L. Don't like the company any more than the next guy, but man the 40L is probably my favorite of all the BUIS I have used.

Matech, I bought one today at the show but I don't want to move my ACOG to install it

I have one of each.cthe KAC and matech are great then KAC has the twist for elevation allowing a compact but more robust platform. The mbus PRO backups feel as good as the KAC and have the advantage of a 0-300 sight built in. If your wanting straight 600 matech is cheaper and I have it mounted on more rifles then KAC or magpul.

I have 2 sets of pre-derp Troys as well and they are great sights.

If it makes a difference I usually set my BUIS to a 50/200 zero. Obviously not on ones with built in range adjustment.

I have the 300m KAC's and they work.  They are light and very durable.  Not spring loaded if though if you care about that feature.  Don't know if the 600m versions are.

I believe this to be the best back up iron sight.

Not a huge issue. The rifle will be wearing either a 1-4x or a microdot as a primary sighting system.

Those are awful.

Cheapest that works would be a used MAtech. I like the arms #40s and buy them when I can find em used.

Why do you think this? Did you buy one of the promag knockoffs or something? The genuine gg&g sight cost $140.
They are tanks, extremely low profile, and have ranging. I assume you are talking about the dozens of pot metal airsoft/paintball clones.

The Troy I have has the large and small hole but is same plane. If I have to shoot farther than that than I would just hold over or get out of the area.

You said micro RDS OR 1-4. I'm not sure I would bother with BUIS on a good 1-4 or ACOG but that's just me.

Nope, bought them from GGG along with an accucam and a flip up gas block height.

They make the single best flip up gas block sight in the market. The accucam works fine (deployed with it) but took a couple rounds to settle in after each QD. it's fine but the price is the equal to superior companies (ADM, LARUE, BOBRO)

That sight wheel shifted constantly during use. By use I mean having it slung, put in and out of the truck, range and training time rubbing against stuff, etc.

I took it off my m4 before deployment and put and MAtech back on. If I need a buis, I may need it now - not in between or on a partially rotated or half moon aperture.

I did enjoy them in the range fine. The gas block FS went on my Beowulf with a VLTOR casvm. Real bad bitch of a rifle.

Gotta 'fess up, went ahead and got a Troy rear folder from Aim on BF--- for $54...... I also have since acquired a set of the Diamondhead and they appear to be GTG.

I was beginning to think I was the only one here who used GG&G sights.

I don't have this particular model but I do have the a flip up rear right that I like a lot.

I got from Botach. And in a timely manor also.

That's the small aperture. It's a two position design that lets the small aperture flip down. Same as the other MBUS sights.
