Last time I checked, it was 3-5 in the southern part of the state, and 4-7 in the central part.

We are supposed to get hit too but the weather reporters are all wishy washy about snow totals, I have heard as much as 12-15" and as little as 3-5"

We are sitting on the split between rain and snow.

It's super nice here now too. I guess our low on Monday is supposed to be 3 though. I took Superbowl Monday off as a vacation day. That's starting to look smart.

We got 24" of snow early last week. 6" of snow late last week and we are projected to get 6"-12" of snow on Monday.

We already had several feet of snow on the ground before all this started.

God I love Maine.

Calling for 12+ around Chicago. After living at 9,000+ in Colorado for a couple years these storms aren't shit. Only problem is the people driving in them are shit.

Yup, seems the media likes to sensationalize weather nowadays, maybe its a ratings thing, maybe its because they are more afraid of not calling on the worse case scenario, just in case.

Either way, in the winter its normal to get snow storms of 6+ inches in the snow belt.
Just like too in the summer they claim every rain shower will have heavy downfalls, flooding and damaging winds "possible" as if its an historic event every time it rains on the heavy side.
Sometimes too I think they (the media) over dramatise to drum up support of the climate change hoax. That said 6-8" or even 12" is completely normal snow fall in the winter in my area, though the media will report it as an "historic" pants shitting event.

I could not give two shits about how much snow the Portage, IN area is supposed to get, except the fact that I have to work 0600 tomorrow morning in downtown Chicago and 0600 Monday also.

I just hope they don't shut down 90 or 94.
