There are none better. If you think there might be, you are wrong.
Ingredients and hardware. Gotta get that LOL cheese. 
The cut is very important. 1/8" and straight. You want it to crisp on the outside and stay soft on the inside. This is perfect: 
Onto a dry piece of cast iron on med-high heat. Cook both sides: 
Onto the egg. salt, pepper, a splash of water or milk, and a tablespoon or so of sriracha. 
It looks kinda weird, but that color lets you know it's good. 
Toaster. It just toasts things. So toast your bread with it. 
When the scrapple is done, put it onto one slice of bread. Turn the heat to low. See all those little bits left behind? Leave that in the pan. It's delicious. 
Throw some butter in the pan... 
Then the eggs. It's going to smell awesome. Gird your fuckin loins, people. 
Put the eggs on... 
And close 'er up. 
Now, the best thing about cast iron. Before: 
After one wipe with a paper towel: 
Okay, so we need something to drink. Coffee. Real stuff, too, not some scrip shit coffee. The grind: 
The tamp: 
The pull: 
Fuck yeah, time to eat. 
This is the best breakfast sandwich. Unfuckingreproachable. If you disagree, then you are wrong. 
Time to go to the range. |

My ABSOLUTE Favorite breakfast sandwich was something a local fancy shop made.. I make them at home all the time now.. Toasted Bagel, cream cheese, bacon and tomato... F@&%$ing AWESOME sandwich with your preferred bagel and with a little salt and pepper. I hate the OP for this thread as I started the carb diet a week ago and need to drop 20#... Will be at least 4-6 weeks before I can have one again...
By the way it has all 4 food groups Bagels, Cheese, Bacon and a veggie...... |
