Good on the Republicans. Keep putting good bills in front of him people support and let him show his true colors. this has win/win all over it.
"So Fuckstain in whitehouse, why are you against good paying jobs for Americans and more energy production at home?" |

We are being played on Keystone.
Only the Canadians profit from this thing. |

I'm all for the keystone pipeline, Why did npr announce tonight that only 35 American's would have long-term jobs for running the thing? Guess its after the building of course and we're in the monitoring stage

Planned expansion also allows for transportation of North Dakota crude, which will benefit the entire upper Midwest dramatically. That's not taking into account the construction jobs created, or the royalties that will be paid to landowners. |

View Quote Okay, so let's say that Americans only benefit from some temporary construction jobs on this and the Canadians get the big bucks (which I don't believe will be the case, but anyway.) Well, aren't we their biggest trading partner? So if their economy has a boost, then isn't that going to give a boost to our economy because they'll buy more of our stuff? |

Veto coming: Obama's pal Warren Buffett is making too much money on shipping the oil by train.

Here's a hint, we buy a lot of raw material from Canada that we refine/process into a finished good or product that we sell for a profit. If it were even just a transport line, the export of the crude drives jobs for pipeline workers, ports, shipping companies, and a host of other support businesses. No business operates in a vacuum. |

Quoted: Senate only needs 5 votes to override View Quote LOL...They'll need a lot more than 5 to get 2/3 override. Why? Because the Dems in vulnerable States only voted for it because they know that Obongo will veto. That way, they can tell their constituents they voted for it. And when they don't vote for an override (and they won't), nobody will be the wiser and they can still say they "voted yes" for Keystone during reelection time. Its all one big game... |

Good. Make him veto it.
Make him and the Dems own this and all the rest of their crap. |

What is Obamas stated reason for being against it ? I know its because is an idiot and out to destroy America and does not want us to prosper but I have missed what his public reason is. Is it the environment ?

Obama will veto, I doubt GOP can get the 2/3rds vote necessary to override.
That means this will be yet another issue GOP can use against Democrats in 2016. |

Help me understand here.....
Why is this good? I dont mean I oppose it, but oil being a global commodity does it really matter where it gets sold? Or is there projected to be additional increases in domestic refining workforce due to the oil which gets transported? |
|
I don't know much about this. My understanding is that the keystone pipeline already exists and this is just some sort of shortcut that is going to be built? What sort of impact will the construction have on the area it is being built in?

There is no way that FBHO can spin this to be the problem of "The GOP is the party of no".....the media will try their damnedest though.
