Not sure if anyone else noticed, but IV8888 went from never mentioning Geissele, to basically being their spokesman overnight. Very disingenuous and not obvious at all  Thats coming from a Geissele rail fanboy.

I'm sure they are getting lots of free stuff and paid. I swear they've been wearing nothing but Geissele and AR500 armor shirts for the past month or two.

I've had brakes spin loose if I didn't apply rocksett to them before.

I didn't see it loosen. I think the bullets started coming out sideways. The bullet impact and weakened state of the hot steel broke it off.

I saw it loosen!

Nah, if you watch the two mag dumps before it came off you can see the gap with the barrel threads exposed and the gap increasing before it finally disappears. I gotta wonder if he had a crush washer or index rings on it. Video resolution wasn't quite high enough for me to make out any rings vibrating around in the gap.

Still, only 870 rounds before catastrophic failure eh? Shoulda bought Intacto.

He's crazy. I'm not sure how far the camera was away from him but even at that distance I could clearly see the barrel glowing orange through the rail. If it's glowing, isn't it near the point of melting and drooping?

Yeah I think an auto sear would have been a better idea in this instance, that lower might be mine one day.

Also it looked pretty clean for being at least 28 years old.

Stainless barrels have poor heat resistance for this kind of firing schedule.

New manufacture MG lower, working with an 07/C2 manufacturer.  Would be insane to use a valuable transferable for this kind of testing.

Brake started spinning loose from 3rd or 4th magazine.

My buddy had an AAC single chamber that was just about to fall off after the first mag. He's damn lucky I caught it before he hit it or had it fly off into the creek.
